Attended college in Louisville, KY where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Biblical and Theological Studies in Church Leadership and Growth with a minor in Children’s Ministry.

Pursuing her masters in Christian education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Currently the Children’s Director at East Side Baptist Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

B.S. in General Studies from Delta State University.

Has worked for Baxter Healthcare Inc. for 39 years, originally in the Cleveland ,MS facility and the last 12  years here in Mountain Home.

Interest include any type of outdoor activity, particularly hunting and fishing.

Alexander W. Dunlap
DVM, MD

Dr. Dunlap graduated 1984 from the University of Arkansas with his (BS) Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and a BSA in Animal Science.
He earned his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 1989, and in 1996 he received his doctorate in Medicine from the University of Tennessee.
Between 1991-Present, Dr. Dunlap has supported nine NASA space flights as a Veterinarian and Scientist
In 1996, Dr. Dunlap was selected as an Alternate Payload Specialist (Astronaut) for Space Shuttle Flight STS-90/Neurolab, a research mission that investigated the effects of microgravity on the brain and nervous system.
Currently, Dr. Dunlap serves both as Chief Veterinarian for NASA and as an emergency room physician at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro, AR.

 

Adrienne Emmerson

Originally from Rochester NY.

Graduated from Clarkson University with a BS in Applied Math and Statistics in 2006.

Worked as a Process Engineer for Guardian Industries for 3 years.

Currently living Texas and teaching Algebra, Intro to Engineering and Robotics at Greenville High School.

Proud mentor of FRC Team 148 the Robowranglers.

Mr. Tyrone Fowler

Received BS in Wildlife and Conservation management from Southwest Missouri State University
Has worked for Corp of Engineers for 17 years
Coordinates Lake Clean-Up Program, Summer water patrol on Norfork Lake/Bull Shoals Lakes, Kids Fishing Derby, and Boat Education Classes
Affiliated with Delta Waterfowl and National Wild Turkey Federation
Enjoys turkey and duck hunting, weight lifting, and spending time with daughter Aubrey.
Comments: "I think that learning science and technology, as well as team work and sportsmanship, are important for young adults. This program will be quite an experience for the students and for the judges"

Dr. Michael Langevin

Dr. Langevin has practiced in Mountain Home since 1979.

He received his B.S. in Zoology from Arkansas State University in 1975 and attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN for his doctorate.

He is a member of numerous professional organizations and is an avid scuba diver.

Dr. Langevin has raised two children was active in soccer as a coach and referee for recreational as well as the state high school level. He was instrumental in the institution of the women's high school team in Mountain Home.

Currently Dr. Langevin is a volunteer at the Free Christian Clinic seeing patients in the new Ocular Pathology section of the clinic.

Comments: "The appreciation of science and its everyday application in ones life cannot be over estimated. I am very happy to serve and make this a possibility in a young adults life."

Instructor for electronics and industrial automation at North Arkansas College. 

Part of the team that hosts the Northark BEST robotics hub annually.

Graduated from Mena High School in 1970 then received a BSEE from the University of Arkansas in 1975.

Held engineering positions with Union Carbide and General Electric.

Managed the engineering for an industrial system integrator, Automated Control Concepts, Inc. for 9 years.

Kent Marts

Born in Clarksville, AR. and Graduated from Springdale High School in 1981.
My wife Natalie and I have four children - Jeff, 19; Sarah, 18; Laura, 13 and David, 6.
Graduated from ASU in 1985 with a Bachelor's degree in journalism.
Worked at Benton County Daily Record for almost 20 years and received many awards from the Arkansas Press Association. I started as a reporter and worked my way up to vice president, general manager and editor.
My hobbies include umpiring baseball, coaching girls softball, duck & deer hunting, and dog breeding.
I am also an amateur astronomy and serve as club president for Sugar Creek Astronomical Society, and publish the club quarterly magazine, The Reflector.

Donna is currently employed at Baxter Healthcare as Human Resources Director

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Biola University and a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School.

Comments: I think Lego League is a wonderful program to grow and develop our youth in the scientific and math arenas. It is amazing to watch them problem solve and compete with their whole hearts in this competition. What a wonderful experience!

Received a NASA Graduate Researcher Fellowship with Stennis Space Center and University of Arkansas 1993 -1996

M.S. in Instrumentation/Applied Science from University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1994 focusing on the design & development of combustion and rocket plume monitoring equipment.

Works for BEI Precision Systems & Space Co. since 1996 as Design Engineer, Programmer, and Senior Test Engineer. Jason has written motion control software that is presently in multiple subsystems on the AURA space satellite currently orbiting the earth.

Presently involved in designing test & support systems for military & aerospace rotary encoders.
